All in the span of 3 weeks Duke Energy has been like an Invasive Plant in my Community with a huge new fleet of vehicles and what appear to be temporarily employed people of Color for this so-called weatherization campaign.
Their 1st visit I refused their intrusion. I was busy and had already received an agreed upon box of weatherization products from Duke Energy And had installed them. So the response was "It's not the same".
So I adamantly send them on their way stating maybe my neighbors need your services.
Long story short they kept coming with so many different fancy new vehicles.
Within this time and a total of 5 visits from Duke Energy they sent me an Increased of my Bill, a Postcard notice of an another Visit and while I was away an intrusive sticker on my door (I have A No Trespassing Sign on my Entrance Gate ) and a follow-up personal visit the same day of sticker by 2 of their people.
I was furious! I immediately said Dang!, You guys are like the Gestapo, why do you keep coming like that? I told you NO in the first place. He began to say but Mam, I stop him right then -I said NO! and walk to my backyard. He did not leave right away .
I prefer Solar. Solar which is what I had in California in 1984 and was pleased. I think it is what NC should be investing in.
Duke Energy is full of Trumpite Power and is being very invasive and trying to Suppress Solar Power.
Hoping one of the installers tell the truth on just what is their real mission and if they are installing another cheap dangerous product in Black Homes, LED bulbs were Lead..
