10 Our Community has been systematically and gravely omitted from the money pots of the City of Winston Salem over the past 30 years that only if we are earmarked for a substantial amount for improvements,that we will encourage our Voters in this Community to vote for such a Bond. Scorecard looks at one event this week: Winston-Salem City Council members reach preliminary consensus Monday on a $175-million bond issue, most of which would be put before the voters this fall. The bonds would be used for needs ranging from police stations to public parks.
